The TURN team in New Zealand successfully helped Air New Zealand test reusable cups on flight NZ5063 on March 26th, 2024, from Auckland, New Zealand, to Nelson, New Zealand.

Air New Zealand — TURN reusable cups

Air New Zealand announced the test the day before by sending a text out to customers.

“We'll be trialing reusable cups for our beverage service on your flight NZ5063 tomorrow. We'd love you to bring your own cup if you can, or we'll have reusable ones onboard for you to use to enjoy tea, coffee, or water.

We think it's worth trying ways we can remove the millions of single-use cups we use each year, and we'd value your feedback after your flight.”

Some customers like Tom Williams brought their own cups onto the flight.
