Audi has a 100% electric SUV. Nobody talks about it, and nobody knows about it. When we think of electric cars, we think of Tesla. We tried both, and this is why we decided the Audi is better.

  1. Mileage:
Audi: The Etron is rated for 205 miles, but you actually get more than 240 miles. They underpromise and overdeliver.
Tesla: The Model X is rated for 270 miles, but you only get 220 miles. They overpromise and underdeliver.

Audi: It's heavy, and it's real. You get an electric Audi Q8. Let’s not ignore the massage seats, genuine leather, sunroof, Apple and Android connection.
Tesla: It's beautiful. It's fun. It feels more like a toy than a luxury car. The sky roof is nice but gets hot.

  4. Car Charging:
Audi: We use Electrify America — There is plenty on the way to LA that you can charge on the main highway. The Audi charges to 80% in 20–30 minutes. Much quicker than we had with a Tesla. We use EVGO in the city to get quick charges at all Whole Foods…
