RFID Globelert cup

“First, they banned smoking on planes and now they are banning unlimited free refills,” remarked somebody on Reddit :)

This is Disney Corporations RFID reusable cup for free refills around the theme parks.

If you don’t have the cup, the refill machine won't work, and if you do have the cup you will get a free refill.

Someone brought one, and accidentally filled it with Coca-Cola realising they didn’t want Coca-cola they tipped it out to refill it and the machine said “Wait 15 minutes”

That is right, you are only allowed 1 refill every 15 minutes. With kids screaming as they wanted more sugar water, the lady asked whether I she should get a new cup for $5 or just wait 15 minutes.

What do you think she did?

Welcome to the future:

or Brave New World.

The Globelet reusable trackable cups are coming to airports and shopping centres around the world in the next 7 months and we can’t wait to see how many disposable cups can be saved at theme parks as well as drinks not wasted from people being reserved about how much they drink.

Welcome to the world of unlimited refills, every 15 minutes.

The best part — this cup links litter to the purchaser too…. unless you pay cash.
