Do you need to register for tax in California if your a Delaware Corp?

If you are doing business in California, you need to register the company for tax purposes in California.

How do you do it?

It’s confusing. It doesn’t make sense. Where do you go?

I hope by reading this I can help simplify how to get your tax ID sorted.

  1. Fill out Statement and Designation by Foreign Corporation (Form S&DC-S/N) click here
  2. Download your Delaware Corp incorporation documents
  3. File it with Secretary of State — we used this company to file for us. They personally print the docs and take them in person so you can expedite filling. https://californiacorporationexpeditedfilingservice.com/

I hope this will help you know what and how to file in California when you are conducting business here.
