My Somnee, which arrived in October 2023, has had a significant impact on my sleep and overall well-being. Initially, I was drawn to the device as an alternative to my reliance on melatonin and the recurring cost of purchasing sleep aids. The first night I used the Somnee, I experienced a level of deep sleep that left me feeling remarkably refreshed, almost as if I had been transported back to my childhood. However, after using it consistently for three months, I began experiencing severe headaches, which led me to discontinue its use.

Here are my key takeaways from using the Somnee:

  1. Extended Use: I found myself wearing the Somnee throughout the night, often dozing off within the first 10 minutes of the 15-minute session. I was so tired, I couldn’t take it off. This allowed me to track my sleep and compare the data with my Apple Watch.
